Simple Amish Poppy Seed Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS

3 cups flour


1 1/2 teaspoon salt


1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


3 eggs (beaten)

1 1/2 cup oil


2 1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cup whole milk


1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla


1/2 teaspoon almond oil (not required, only for added flavor)


1 1/2 teaspoon butter

1 1/2 tablespoon unwashed UK Poppy Seeds


 

 

DIRECTIONS

In a medium-size mixing bowl, add all ingredients together, and mix for 2-3 minutes, or until batter is a smooth consistency.

Pour batter into 2 greased and floured standard-sized bread pans.

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick test comes out clean. Prick bread loaves with a fork after baking.
