The oils and nutrients are great for combating dandruff. This recipe can help reduce dandruff.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons Unwashed Poppy Seeds
Directions: Soak the unwashed Poppy Seeds in 1/3 cup of cold water for 12 hours in a bowl. Once seeds have soaked, leave seeds in the water and bowl they soaked in, and crush the seeds with the bottom of a large spoon, or the bottom of a cup. Once crushed, mix seeds with a spoon, and allow to soak for an additional hour. Add additional water if needed. After the Poppy Seeds have soaked, strain seeds using a small-knit strainer, or coffee filter. Save the water; this is what is used, the seeds are no longer needed at this point.
How To Use: Use 1-2 teaspoons of the mixture with your normal shampoo while taking a shower. If mixture makes your hair too oily, use less. The amount required may vary depending on your hair type. Make sure to re-mix before using.
